Tyneside Tavern Haddington East lothian

The fifth annual East Lothian Food and Drinks Awards dinner was held on the 5th October 2010 at the Glasshouse Function venue in Musselburgh. The event is part of an ongoing initiative led by East Lothian Council to establish the county as the leader in Scotland for quality food, drink and hospitality.

To highlight the growing importance of the event, the Scottish Government's Minister of Environment, Roseanna Cunningham presented the awards.

The event was sponsored by Queen Margaret University, Torness Power Station, Glenkinchie Distillery and Brodies of Musselburgh.

It is our on going commitment to work with our suppliers to use Scotlands larder to make sure we can sourse local food for our menu whenever possible.
